INCOTEC CARGO arranged delivery of 2 heavyweight transformers with their weight of 73 tons each for JSC LENENERGO within the frames of generating capacities modernization in Saint Petersburg.

Transformers (height 4.5 meters, length 5.75 meters, width 2.37 meters) were produced by the Company “Togliatti Transformator”. The total weight of the whole shipment including set of auxiliary equipment equaled 190 tons.
The transportation from Togliatti was carried out by rail way on platforms and transporters to Kolpino Station. Reloading on trailer was implemented by means of mobile crane LIEBHERR LTM 1200 with its lifting capacity of 200 tons.
Due to large dimensions of the cargo it has been permitted to implement inland trucking nighttime only using elevating work platforms for lifting or switching off overhead power lines.
All the works such as: reloading on special trailer, inland trucking to the place of destination and discharge have been carried out in accordance with Work Method Statement in record short term – within 3 days.
