INCOTEC CARGO has shipped Separator for Serbia
Hot Low Pressure Separator with its weight of 42 tons, meant for construction of Oil Refinery in Pancevo, was loaded on board of m/v Rossiyanin in the port of Rostov-on-Don.
This unit, delivered under the Contract between INCOTEC CARGO and JSC Uralhimmash, was waiting for its loading as from 1st February 2012. The reason of such a delay was hard ice situation and abnormal, for this region, colds in the area of Azov Sea within the period of 12th – 29th February 2012. Due to that about 100 vessels stuck in Kerch Strait waiting for icebreaker assistance.
M/v Rossiyanin among the first broke from ice captivity of Azov Sea and went alongside to the port of Rostov-on-Don. Now She is expected to have difficult voyage with the help of icebreaker assistance as well on Azov Sea to the port of Constantza where the Separator is supposed to be reloaded on barge and ship on the Danube to Pancevo.
However this is not the end of cold weather consequences. From 6th February due to the same reason the Danube navigation has been stopped. As a result, from the beginning of February the most oversized unit - Rich Amine Flash Drum (weight 55 tons, length more than 15 meters, height 4.5 meters, width 5 meters) – is waiting for its shipment to Pancevo in the port of Constantza.
Meanwhile favourable forecast gives us a hope that in the nearest time the Danube navigation will be proceeded and transportation of heavyweight and oversized equipment will be completed accordingly.
