INCOTEC CARGO completed delivery of finned pipes from Germany
INCOTEC CARGO completed transportation of long-length finned pipes with total volume of 334 freight tons from Germany for JSC Machine-Building Plant ZiO-Podolsk.
Long-lengths were picked up ex works Rosink located in Nordhon (Germany). By means of telescopic trailers finned pipes with their length of 21 meters packed in bundles weighing 3,5 tons each were delivered to the port of Antwerpen (Belgium). Due to their high flexibility a special spreader beam was used for loading and discharging. For transportation from the port of Saint-Petersburg to Podolsk we used telescopic trailers as well – the deck length of such trailers can be extended to the required one.
INCOTEC CARGO has already transported long-length finned pipes from Germany for JSC Machine-Building Plant. In the year of 2008 we delivered identical cargo by the same route. That was transportation of pipes arrived by 5 shiploads with total volume of 4000 freight tons. It is planned that INCOTEC CARGO will transport other 1400 freight tons for a Moscow plant.
Finned pipes are used within shell and tube type heat exchangers to enhance the heat transfer between the inside of the heat exchanger tube or pipe, and the outside.
