INCOTEC CARGO completed delivery of Drilling Rig with its total volume of 1 866 freight tons from Italy for one of GAZPROM branches in Astrakhan Region.

The transportation of heavyweight and oversized equipment has been carried out ex works DRILLMEC S.P.A. (Piacenza, Italy). The Drilling Rig was disassembled and the whole shipment consisted of 48 items including heavyweights which were placed on vehicle chassis and delivered to the port of Genoa. The whole consignment was consolidated in the port and then loaded on board of vessel «Fehn Coral» being destined to the port of Saint Petersburg.
In the port of Saint Petersburg parts of Drilling Rig were reloaded by means of floating crane with its payload of 100 tons and delivered by special trailers to Aksaraiskiy Township (Astrkhan) to the Consignee’s warehouse - Gazprom podzemremont Orenburg JSC.
In total for inland transportation through Russia there were used 7 special trailers for heavyweights, 2 streamlined semitrailers for vehicle chassis and 16 trucks for standard cargo. It took a little more than 2 months of transit time for this “door-to-door” delivery. It started in Piacenza 26th March 2012 and 30th May 2012 the Drilling Rig has been delivered to the Consignee’s warehouse.
