INCOTEC CARGO completed equipment delivery from China with total volume of 3 000 freight tons for one of GAZPROM branches in Astrakhan Region.

Equipment was picked up ex works Sian and Chengdu (China). The shipment consisted of 137 items both oversized and in gauge. By mutual agreement it was decided to consolidate the whole shipment in the port of Shanghai. Then it was loaded on board of a vessel destined for the port of Saint Petersburg without any transit transshipments on “part cargo” basis.  The main task was to deliver the whole cargo to Russia by one lot.    
It should be noted that from the very beginning of the project our experts met a number of problems connected with this shipment. Due to the flood the Shipper delayed cargo release as some of items were to be repacked. Consequently we missed the initially scheduled vessel and two other accordingly. We could make booking at the fourth time only.  Finally with 3 weeks delay the cargo has been loaded on board of vessel “Consuela” with her capacity of 38 000 m3.
It was expected that the cargo would arrive in December 2012 but taking into consideration additional calls to ports for loading/discharging and difficult ice condition in Northern Region it took more than 70 days of transit time. The cargo was discharged in the port of Saint Petersburg 5th January 2013.
Customs clearance has been arranged in Saint Petersburg. By the date the whole shipment is delivered to the Consignee.
