INCOTEC CARGO arranged delivery of 2 500 tons of equipment to Kazakhstan

Within the period of January 2013 till December 2013 INCOTEC CARGO delivered about 850 tons of power-generating equipment meant for modernization of the largest Hydroelectric Power Plants of Kazakhstan in Ekibastuz and Aksu.

The whole equipment was delivered by railway. In total from the beginning of the year under the Contract it has been shipped 39 units of rolling stock consisting of open wagons and platforms. Consignments contained power-generating equipment and its spare parts. At the moment the total volume of equipment delivered is 850 tons. Shipments are in progress.

This is not the first experience for INCOTEC CARGO in equipment deliveries to Kazakhstan. In the year of 2012 we arranged transportation of power-generating equipment with its total weight of 800 tons for Ekibastuz Hydroelectric Power Plant and in the end of the year 2011 for Aksu Thermal Power Plant. Thus the total volume of project cargo transported to Kazakhstan exceeded 2 500 tons.
 
Ekibastuz Hydroelectric Power Plant-1 is one of the largest power plants in Kazakhstan.
20 % of generated energy is transferred to Russia the rest part is distributed in the Power Market of Kazakhstan. By the year of 2017 it is planned to restore and modernize power units No. 8,1 and 2. It allows to reach design capacity of 4 000 MW and satisfy the growing demand not only in Kazakhstan but in neighbor countries as well.  

INCOTEC CARGO is one of the largest Russian companies specializing in transportation of heavyweight and oversized power-generating equipment as to Russian and foreign power plants. From the date of foundation we arranged transportation of tens of thousands tons of project cargo for such Customers as: TGC-1, MOSENERGO, INTER RAO UES, JSC LENENERGO, Reftinskaya Hydroelectric Power Station (Sverdlovsk Region), Aksu Thermal Power Plant (Kazakhstan),  “Sisak” Combined Heat and Power Plant (Croatia), “Sipat” Thermal Power Plant (India), “Dibis” Thermal Power Plant (Iraq) etc.
