On 22nd September 2018 the Sixth Shipload of Equipment Has Been Shipped from the Port of Saint Petersburg for the Second Construction Stage of Kudankulam NPP (India)

By order of JSC Atomstroyexport during the period from August to September 2018 INCOTEC CARGO arranged receipt and warehousing the equipment of the 6th shipload in the territory of the Sea Port of Saint Petersburg for NPP in India.

The shipment consisted of 658 items of different type of equipment (boxes, steel construction, pipelines, and tanks) with the total volume of more than 8 000 freight tons.

The shipment also included 11 items of heavyweight and oversized equipment with the unit weight from 52 tons to 142 tons. Their transshipment was carried out by means of Floating Crane as well as one unit – the Stator - with its weight of 372 tons.

The Stator transshipment has been carried out directly from rail transporter of coupled type with its payload of 400 tons by means of vessel’s cranes.

To implement the Stator transshipment using combined work of vessel’s cranes, a special lifting beam WLL 500 tons has been rented.

On 17th September 2018 the Indian Customer presented mv «CHIPOLBROK ATLANTIC» for loading and on 22nd September 2018 the loading of the 6th shipload has been completed.

One month earlier, on 16th August 2018, the 5th shipload with the total volume of 5 570 freight tons was shipped from the Sea Port of Saint Petersburg.

At present time preparatory activities are being carried out for transshipment of the 7th shipload with preliminary volume of 5300 freight tons which is planned for shipment in November 2018.
