On 5th January 2019 the 8th Shipload of Equipment Has Been Shipped from the Port of Saint Petersburg for the Second Construction Stage of Kudankulam NPP (India)

By order of JSC Atomstroyexport during the period from November to December 2018 INCOTEC CARGO arranged receipt and warehousing the equipment of the 8th shipload in the territory of the Sea Port of Saint Petersburg for NPP in India.

The shipment consisted of 828 items of different type of equipment (boxes, steel construction, pipelines, filters and containers) with the total volume of more than 8 000 freight tons.

The shipment also included 11 items of heavyweight and oversized equipment with the unit weight from 52 tons to 117 tons. Their transshipment was carried out by means of Floating Crane as well as three units – the Stator - with its weight of 372 tons and two Steam Generators - 310 tons each.

The Stator transshipment has been carried out directly from rail transporter of coupled type with its payload of 400 tons by means of vessel’s cranes.

Transshipment of Steam Generators was arranged according to combined scheme – unloading to the warehouse by means of floating crane “Demag”, loading on board by means of shipboard cranes.

On 23rd December 2018 the Indian Customer presented mv «PACIFIC WINTER» for loading and on 5th January 2019 the loading of the 8th shipload has been completed.

Two months earlier, on 12th November 2019, the 7th shipload with the total volume of 5 540 freight tons was dispatched from the Port of Saint Petersburg.

According to the results of the year of 2018, 5 shiploads were dispatched from the Port of Saint Petersburg for the second construction stage of Kudankulam NPP with the total volume of 33 000 freight tons.
