INCOTEC CARGO has successfully completed delivery of 3 500 freight tons of heavyweight and oversized equipment for construction of “Sisak” TPP 3rd power unit (Croatia).

18 Waste-Heat Boilers (weight up to 72 tons each) and 23 units of oversized equipment were shipped ex works Kashira Steel and Boiler Production Plant JSC located in Moscow Region by order of Podolsk Machine-Building Plant JSC. We have worked out multimodal transportation to Sisak, having used inland trucking, railway and sea freight.  Waste-Heat Boilers with their length of more than 20 meters, width and height about 3 meters, were loaded on special railway platforms and delivered to Croatia. The rest part of consignment has been shipped by means of 23 special trailers (payload - 40 tons each) to the port of Saint Petersburg, then loaded on board of a ferry destined to the port of Lübeck (Germany) and delivered to Sisak (Croatia) by special trailers.
In order to provide smooth transportation, specialists of our Company have made all the preparations – in the shortest possible time we have got permissions required in Russia and Europe for transportation of heavyweight and oversized cargo, project of loading and lashing equipment on the platform has been worked out and approved by JSC Russian Railways and corresponding departments of participating countries.
Moreover, INCOTEC CARGO has drawn up international customs transit on border lines, arranged bogie change operation and provided the rest technological support during the whole transportation. 
3rd power unit of “Sisak” TPP with capacity of 240 mW is being built within the programme of the USSR debt repayment. “Sisak” TPP is situated at the distance of 50 kilometers from the capital of Croatia – Zagreb.   1st power unit of 210mW capacity was put in operation in 1970, 2nd unit of the same capacity -  in 1976. Currently installed electric plant capacity is 420mW.
